The Zehnder ComfoSpot 50 is an external wall-mounted ventilation unit with heat and moisture recovery. The ComfoSpot ventilation unit uses an enthalpy counterflow plate heat exchanger, which ensures a low frost protection limit and helps prevent excessive indoor air dryness during the heating period (recovering up to 78% humidity), and is also able to recover more than 80% of thermal energy.
Despite the fact that the unit is equipped with high-pressure centrifugal fans, the noise level of the unit at a supply air flow rate of 10 l/s is around 25 dBA.
The Zehnder ComfoSpot 50 is suitable for both renovation projects and new buildings where the use of ventilation ducts is not recommended.
The unit has been awarded the Passive House Institute certificate.
